There is Nothing Wasted in Life

When you look back on your past, various regrets may come to mind.

Everyone will have thought such things as, "I wish I had chosen another way" or "I should not have done such a thing" at some point in their lives.

There are many examples about such things especially when looking back on their careers. Some people may think, "I should I have got into that college" or "I wish I had entered that company," and some people may think "I wish I had married him" or "I should not have ridden such a money-making idea."

As for me, I had experienced various jobs in the past before I started my current job. Some of them were good companies, but some were tough workplaces. In Japan, if you change jobs often, you won't get a good evaluation. Beside, the older you get, the more difficult it is to get a job.

I have experienced various jobs and workplaces as I stated above. I think it has not been wasted but useful in my current job.

Through experiencing different jobs and workplaces, I was able to learn about the different lives of the people I met and gain experience in various areas. I think that helps me when counseling and giving advice to others.

If I had only kept doing my current job without experiencing any other jobs, I would not have understood the hardships that many people have gone through, and I would have been discussing only empty and ideal theories.

There were some things that I could understand only through various experiences, and they could be useful so that I could help people.

Therefore, even if you think you have made a wrong choice and have done something in vain, that experience can be useful later in your life.

Even if the knowledge you gained is not directly useful, it can be an invaluable experience for your soul.

The important thing is how much you can extract wisdom and learn from that experience.

Even if you make a mistake, it will be an invaluable experience that will enable you to learn who you really are and reflect on what you did. You can live your life without wasting any of your experiences by turning them into wisdom.
